Here are some layouts I have made in the last couple of months. As you can tell, I have gotten the hang of the shadows and have acquired many more digital kits to play with. I really like the "shabby" design, which is really just about distressed components and lots of layered embellishments. I always liked this look, but it was alot harder and more expensive to do that with traditional scrapbooking. That is another reason I like digital scrapbooking.

One Page Layouts
Here are some one page layouts I did just for fun.
Scout Camp. I used a template to do this one just to practice with templates. You'll notice that this is a pretty basic layout, with no shadows or fancy titles.
Landon So Adorable. I love this layout, I just wished I had used shadows so it didn't look so flat. Now I know better.
Those Eyes. Here is a more recent one page layout. This is my own layout with the use of paper, embellishments and alphabet. You can tell how much better it looks with shadows. Much more realistic.

My New Scrapbooking Blog
I am starting this new blog all about digital scrapbooking, which is my new passion. I have been doing traditional scrapbooking since 2001, when my oldest Kaleb was born. I love scrapbooking because it helps me be creative, appreciate my blessings and keep a historical record for our family. What I love about digital scrapbooking is that I can do all these things in a clean, professional way. I bought a new laptop in May and photoshop elements 6 and I have been learning new techniques ever since. Anyways, this blog is mostly for me, but I can also share my creations with my family and friends.
